Cant get ALK to go above 7.0! Please help !!!

I cannot get my ALK to stay anywhere above 7.0 no matter what i do. Yesterday i tested it and it was 7.0 so i added an ALK raiser and it went up to 8.0. Then i tested to today and it dropped to 6.0!! So i just added more ALK raiser today so im waiting a few hours to test again. My calcium is at 460. My corals seem to be doin fine except for one plate coral that is now loosing its color in the form of white lines and is starting to show its skeleton in one spot. Ill add a pic so you can see.

some tanks can consume upto 3dkh per day. if ur test kits is ok then its just that ur tanks demands for alk has gone up. this can be compensated by either more dosing, 2part dosing, cal reactor, etc.

Also be sure that your magnesium levels are in check or the alkalinity will bind with the calcium and pull both calcium and alkalinity out of your system.
