Feather Duster lost "Feathers"

My feather duster lost its feathers. Will they grow back?

Yes, my feather duster did that last month. It scared the crap out of me and thought it died. Just leave it be and you will see it in a few days with shorter feathers.

Yes a feather dusters crown will grow back, it takes a few weeks as mine did too maybe about a week ago. However if you put him in recently and his crown fell off, its most likely your water parameters. Otherwise he may have been stressed out from other fish or invertebrates in the tank.
