Light Refugium with Only LR??

I bought chaeto for my fuge several weeks ago, but it has pretty much disintegrated. Not enough nutrients to support it. So since I only have LR left in the fuge now, is there any benefit to keeping the light on?

Not really. You'll get some algae growth, but it's not going to help with nutrient levels the way chaeto can. It will be more of an eyesore than anything else IMO. You might as well just keep it dark until you want to give chaeto another try.
