Dry rock processing

This is some dry rock I got in today from Reef Cleaners. This is a 100lbs and most of it will go in my tank along with about 40 lbs of live rock. 72X20X21

I have it soaking in RO/DI water after double rinsing it in RO/DI. My plan is to check the water for phosphate after a couple of days. If it's zero, use it as is, if there is phosphate give it an acid bath? Does that sound reasonable?

Yes, that's what I would do.
