Remove wood stain from acrylic

We added a bar around the tank and some how got wood stain on the tank. Any ideas how to remove, its been on there for a couple months and seems pretty stuck. I don't want to risk messing up the acrylic and its not that bad I guess

Acetone may work. I use it to clean poly off my glasses when I spray cabinets.
