DIY Al Vega led fixture mount

I wanted to share this DIY vega light mount that I built. I was not happy with the selection of light fixture mounts that Aquaillumination provides. They all seem too big and bulky for a fixture this size, so I built my own for about $10 each.

I purchased:
(2) shelf L brackets at Home Depot for $8 each.
(1) bag of 10-32 1 1/4" screws $1.50 (10-32 is the correct size and thread for the Vega screw holes)
(1) bag of drywall anchors $1.50
(1) bag of wing nuts $1

I drilled holes for my screw attachment points and I used a grinder with a metal cutting blade to cut the brackets down to the correct length. I also cut off the angled brace and used it to connect my light to the L bracket. The lights are only 4 lbs., so the brace isn't necessary. I attached a picture which should explain everything.
