How old is this tank? Did you go through a normal cycle?

upgrade from a 55 gallon Fowlr tank, just treated it like a big water change. not too much of a cycle, everything seems to be good except for the high nitrate problem 25ppm. tank up and running about a month

I recently upgraded from a 30g to 90g as well and i am having the same issue of high nitrates...the tank has been up for 10 days..the fish transferred over from the other tank are doing great...just cant get the nitrate to fall.
