Return Pump Mess?

Hi everyone. I wonder whether anyone can help me with a dilemma I currently face....

Three weeks ago I decided to upgrade from my Juwel Trigon 350ltr to a Jebo 750ltr setup. I decided that this tank would be the show case of our living room and called in plumbers to make all the pipe work disappear into our stone wall.

I used a lot of the live rock I had from before and also took as much as possible of the water which I had. I changed the gravel completely. Ever since setting up, the water has been cloudy. I have also had an ich outbreak which has wiped out half my fish population. I cannot seem to keep my KH and magnesium up without dosing buffers.

I have now been told that the amount of water going through my sump may also have something to do with this and I would like some advice on this. The plumber used 15mm pipes in the walls so I am pretty much restricted to using these pipes. I was using an aqua medic Eco runner 3700l/hr up to two days ago when I was told that the flow through the sump wasn't enough. I have added a Newjet 6000l/hr pump on top of the aqua medic (I had plumbed two pipes through the wall, one was the return the other for a water change system). I am worried however that the 15mm pipes in the wall are still restricting the flow.

What is your take on the above? Do I have enough flow through the sump?
