Baby hippo tang question?

I just got a baby blue hippo about the size of the end of my thumb. He's so cute! Any how I got home and then I realized wait he's the smallest thing in my tank so I have I'm in a tub with holes drilled and attached to my tank with a magnet for now. My question is does anyone think it would be safe or unsafe to put him in a tank with 1 med sized yellow tang 1 small tallow tang and 3 perc clowns? Here's a pic of the little guy.

I'm assuming/hoping you have a pretty good size tank? With three tangs is one tank it needs to be. You never know for sure how fish a going to react, but if your tank is not large I'd say take him back to the store if you can. Because they will quickly out grow your tank or the new guy may be chased to death. If your tank is large say a 125 or so probably be OK. Also three clowns is some times trouble as well.

They will be fine. They might pick on him a little in the beginning, but that's normal with tangs.

As was mentioned above, what size tank? Also, Hepatus tangs are magnets for ich, and the smaller they are, the worse it seems. The small ones are also pretty fragile. I'm hoping you have a quarantine tank to both treat the new arrival for ich, as well as make sure it's eating well before you introduce it to your tank.

If not, good luck.
