Are all polyurethanes created equal? Does one brand stand above the rest??

Major name brands will give you no problem,,,,

Yesterday I sealed my stand with spar polyurethane.

I have always used Minwax, it has been reliable for years.

i used an entire can of minwax... applied first coat then let it dry for two hours before second coat. it turned out fine.

Hemicuda, did you sand in between coats?

no do not sand between coats

no sanding between coats. i will be buffing/polishing tonight with a microfiber cloth... then possibly sanding with super fine grit if i find any noticeable over spray.
