HOB Skimmer Recommendation for fluval edge 12 gallon

I need to find out if there is a hob skimmer available for the fluval edge 12 gallon. Has anyone taken out the AC20 and put a skimmer in its place?

I don't suggest ditching the 20. It's water turnover and a place to put some chemi-pure. Try a eshopps nano maybe.

For a 12 gal I would change water 10% weekly that would remove and replenish any minerals depleted.
Previously bought a skimmer for a 15gal and 30gal jbj none made a difference and ended up still changing water weekly.
I would say save the money for something else like a ATO system to keep your water lvl stable In a small tank like that.
