Hazy front glass panel

My aquarium is 8-9 years old, brand new when we bought it and its been running continuously since then. My issue is that while the side panels are crystal clear still, the front panel has a horrible haze to it and im not sure why.

Has anyone experienced this/does anyone know if theres something I can do to remove it?

Ive done some searching on the internet, but ill ive read are stories of people buying old used tanks and using an abrasive rub to clean it, but theyre always dry and empty while my tank is a fledgling reef at the moment....

Its not too noticeable in person unless you compare the front to the sides, but the haze ensures that any pictures I try to take from the front look terrible >
