new build 40 g sumpless with ATS

new build 40 gallon sumpless with ATS, will it work for a reef/fish mix, or just I get a sump/skimmer/gfo/carbon reactor,??? thanks

I am doing almost an Identical build. I am not that far into it yet, it is cycling right now. I have my ATS on the overflow and will use Kalk with my ATO. Carbon should be easy to run when needed. That should be all you need. I would start with the ATS and drop in carbon when the situation dictates a need.

will also have a UV when introducing new items just incase, and turn it off when sure it is safe..... still looking for what people think about this build
