Maxspect Razor 20.5 inch vs AI VEGA

I was wondering your opinions on the maxspect razor vs the AI Vega? I was going to get 2 of either for a 90 gallon tank 48 by 18 by 24.
Thanks Dimitri

I have the same tank as you and went with 2 Razors - one of the best purchases I've made for the tank.

Vega is more controllable and has more spectrum but less photosynthetic power and less coverage per light. Also easier to hang the Razors on the tank mount or wire mounts, everything you need is included so you're not nickel and dimed.

IMO, the Vega will be a nicer looking tank if you don't like a pinkish hue at max power which the 16k razors have. Then again, if I had a bunch of clams on the sand bed, i would get the Razor for sure over the Vega.

I can't comment on the AI, because I did not have one over my tank. I just recently upgraded my light from two Evergrow D120 fixtures to one 160w Maxspect Razor to try out....oh man...this Maxspect Razor rock. However, my tank is 48" long....there are shadows on the two sides, which I did know about that. So, just just ordered another one, 120w and ghe connector rods to join both fixture together...can't wait to set the second one up

This led fixture will not disappointed you...try it out.

My buddy has two of the 120's over his 75 and the growth and color is amazing.
