Bio pellets

Hi can anyone please tell me if I should be able to tell if my bio pellet reactor
Is doing its job properly by looking at it because no change in nitrates or phosphate after the pellets have been gently tumbling for 4 months

Are you dosing a bacteria daily ? Once I started dosing zeobak and dr Tim's my nitrates and phosphates started to go down
