Cleaning old equipment

Hey guys was wondering what is the best way to clean power heads? I justi found a box of goodies but the power heads are pretty dirty. I read on this form something about vinegar? Can someone please give me instructions to clean them please, thanks

dip in a bucket with vinegar water 50/50 and leave it over night.
