Radion xr30w pro worth the money?
I build a new tank this year and I wanted to go LEDs. The tank needs two radions and I bought a xr30w g2 and I will need to get another in a month or so. The radion i have atm is doing great, corals are growing at a good speed and. Have nice color. My question is is it worth spending the extra money to get a pro?

Well you could get a Pro and see if you think it makes a difference and then later upgrade your old light or not depending on what you think. Or just upgrade the current one to a Pro, I'm not entirely sure they upgrade the G2 yet, and see for yourself. All gen Radions and models work with each other so you can mix and match them, just that only the extra channels will be comming out of the Pro.

So I got my radion pro two days ago and I got to admit it is very easy to install and very bright. I'm running it at 50 percent and its faded all the corals under it and its fan is very loud. I think it's a little early to give a full opinion but these are my initial observations. I have two frags about the same type and size so ill do a growth comparison to see if the 405 uv are beneficial.

I wouldn't let them get away with having loud fans. You paid really big money for those lights and they should be almost dead quiet. Heck, my old first gen Radion was quiet.
