Reliable skimmer for 90G that wont LEAK!
So what's a good, affordable skimmer? I dug my 2 seaclones out of storage & they both leak at the j tube. I could replace the o rings but I need faith it wont leak! Been looking at AquaC Remora Pro and Reef Octopus BH1000. Which would be most reliable with hardwood floors in mind? (less O-Rings the better I guess!)

Aquamaxx hob1 and eshopps psk100 h for a hand on skimmer. Edge goes to aquamaxx for safety reasons and quietness. Oh but for 90 gallons. .. you'll need a way bigger unit so neither of those will work. Probably the reef oc then.

I suggest adding a sump if you can. Reef oc makes a really nice hang on skimmer, the xp1000 but it's pricey. Probably the best hang on design I've seen yet though.

(Raaaaaidersssss!) lol I would like to add a 10 or 15g sump eventually, I guess I should research that as well. Limited space due to the stand that has a divider in the middle. Currently I have 2 Koralia P/H's and a emperor 400 for flow. How prone is the Reef Octo to leaking anyone?

No leaking problems. That sea clone is basically one of the worst skimmers ever made. You'll be fine with ANY upgrade.

ank is prob atleast 10 years old, got it from my neighbor who had it as a saltct ank then stored it & then a turtle tank lol. Soooo here's the sucky part....I'm pretty much screwed for sump unless I buy a new stand I believe...
