do all led fixtures look better over net

I have an AI SOL blue, it looks great but does have some sharp shadowing and I have yet to see an led setup that has the even blended coverage that t5 or halide has underwater.

Today I made a top from a double layer of the clear 1/4" net on a screen frame. WOW! The clear net must act like a lens or diffuser of sorts. I can not believe how much better and brighter the light coverage is with the top on. I will try to find a par meter to do a comparison.

Has anyone else done this? If not, try it and let me know how it works out. I will post pics after the Heat game.
