5-gallon buckets of salt

I used to buy those small boxes of salt which would make about 20 gal of salt water. Recently, I moved up to the five gallon bucket of Petco brand salt. Inside the bucket were about 10 individual bags salt which I really liked because it made it much more manageable and I feel like if some water manages to spill into the bucket it wouldn't ruin the entire bucket of salt. I was thinking about purchasing some instant ocean salt online because it would be cheaper and save a trip to the store. I was wondering if anyone that has bought the large buckets of IO salt could tell me if they have separately sealed bags of salt inside of them. Thanks!

The 5 gallon buckets of instant ocean, or reef crystals do not come in bags or packs, you mix your own portions. The 200 gallon boxes you can get DO come in four (4) 50 gallon packs.

Some online retailers offer free shipping with as little as $50.00, get some salt and food and you get free shipping to your door.

Was buying the buckets and had different test
results when mixing, switched to the box and my testing results have been steady. Very easy to mix the bag up before opening and making sw

Foster & Smith have IO on sale right now. $40/box. Comes with 4 bags of 50g mix. Add some carbon or something & it'll ship for free.
