Ssa es5 water height
Just wondering if a 8" water level will be sufficient for a sea side aquatics es5 skimmer to perform. I designed the sump for use with a swc 120, but was thinking the ssa es5 would be a better choice, but web sites state that it requires min. 9.5". Thanks

I build my sumps with at least an 12"baffle for skimmer compartment height. You can always raise the skimmer to your desired level.

One of the guys that posted a video a while back replied that his es5 skimmed best at 9 to 9.5
