New and need some help

We have 46g bow front with a 20g sump. We are 1 week into the first cycle ever and have several questions. I am running the protein skimmer and all 4 of our circulation pumps(2x 850's and 2x 240's as I read more is better).
We have what looks like a lot of air in the main viewing tank and also air bubbles rumble up into the sump from the overflow box. we have roughly 45-50 lbs of live rock and 3-4 inches of live sand. I think we are on the right track but still a little overwhelmed. So far no change in the ammonia or anything really. Any advise would be helpful.

What kind of water are you using? And yes keep skimmer on and flow will help speed up process. That rumble can be fixed many ways but it is hard to say without seeing it and also sometimes you need to try some different methods, ex. a filter sock, extra plumbing, ball valve. I know I put another 90 degree elbow to slow it down however some bubbles are not a bad thing unless you want to cut the noise.

Sorry I am just figuring out RC and missed letting you know all the proper info. We have an RO/DI filter system and have been making water for what seams like days lol. I purchased the tank used and the PVC plumbing off the return was leaking. right now I have a 90 slip coming right off the bulkhead on the overflow box. I intend to redo this with pvc. Should be able to come straight down and then use 2x45's to drop into the sump. Would it be wise to install a quarter turn valve here to adjust the flow?
Noise is an issue but I think it has more to do with keeping the correct amount of water in the system. I am still working out what is the right amount, meaning min and max water levels.
