Coralife Aqualight Pro 48" 2x250w HQI: Convert from magnetic 2 electric ballast help!

I am moving up from a 24gallon nano to a 75 gallon. i purchased the set up and it came with the Coralife Aqualight Pro 48" 2x250w HQI light system. The ignitors are fried (he connected an electric ballast to it and it fried them). I would like to conver from to electric ballast. i have heard that it isnt that difficult, but requires the removal of the ignitors and some minor rewiring. My question is if anyone has done this and if so what is the "minor" rewire that is needed. I believe it has something to do with the wires connected to the ignitors but i am unsure where/what wires to connect to each other after removing the ignitor.

Any help would be great!!!
