My 2.5g picotope...come and see!

Ok guys, this is my 2.5 gallon pico. It is coming around 6 months old now almost. I think I've done pretty well with it, but I'd love to hear your feedback. I want everybody to reply to this thread
Anyway, tell me what you think. How I could improve, what I could add, what's good what's bad, questions, comments. Pretty much I just would love a much feedback as possible

Lovely tank! I like that you have given everything some room to grow; I feel like a lot of people just stuff as many frags as they can fit into their picos and don't take growth into account. My only concern is that the closest right-hand corner seems a little empty... Is there anything in particular you had planned on putting there? If not, I think a second species of macroalgae would do well; maybe Dragon's Tongue or a botryocladia? If you don't want to distract anyone from the corals, Codium Lucasii would be a good choice. It is an encrusting macro which is known for developing a blue/green iridescent sheen. That would complement the corals and fill the empty space in the corner while remaining unobtrusive so as not to detract from the lovely corals on display. A toadstool mushroom would also be a good candidate for filling that space. Anyhow, beautiful little pico! Keep up the good work!

Love it! Im going to be making a 5.5 gal nano soon, what lighting do you have in there? And filtration? It's super cute, I love the colors!

I have a tiny green Yuma on the right corner...hopefully it will open up eventually. When I got it it was big, but it detached from its rock so once it reattaches that should fill the blank spot. I will look into the stuff you reccomended, thanks!
The light is a 10 watt multiple color led bulb. Not designed for aquariums, but all my corals love it! Even the birds nest is growing. Filtration is a 5-15 hob.

In the picture, you can see the Yuma in the sand between the green shroom and the Litho. It lives on the corner rock, but the day I took the picture it had blown away.

I added more corals so I changed up the scape a bit. T looks kinda sad without all the bushy xenias. I just have a few little ones in the back now...

Hey I've been thinking of setting my 2.5g up for my mini reef for pom pom crabs and I'm wondering if you could take a full shot of the tank (filter placement lights etc)? What do you have in the filter (activated carbon, just the stock carbon filter etc)? And is that a mini maxi I see in Tue center of the tank or is that something else?

A Pom Pom tank would be so fun! My filter is an 5-15 hob. Inside of it I have polyester fiber, a bag of carbon, and my heater. The light is not designed for reefs, but consistes of red, green, and blue LEDs. 10 watts. My lid is cut out from clear plastic. The center coral is my chalice. The bumpy one with green eyes, right?

Cool tank. JMO but I liked the uneven appearance of the first rock layout.

yeah, i liked the first scape better too,but there was really no good places to put corals. lots of open space, but no holes or crevices to tuck plugs in place so everything was always falling over. any ideas of hoe i could improve the current scape now that i have the new rock?

So much red in this tank. Put a tang in there. Anyways, tank looks a whole lot bigger than it is! Nice!

I'm gonna add two blue mushroom and a green candy cane. I have the perfect spots to put them and then the tank will be full and ill have some of every color in the tank!

Thanks! It did not look good at all hen I started out because I was pinching my pennies and not buying stuf. By now I've given into expenses o reefing and admitted I'd have to spend a bit of mullah to set up something nice. I've actually spent under $400 though total...that's pretty good, right?
