Sand to deep? Re-doing my Aquascaping tomorrow

I'm redoing my aquascaping tomorrow, and was wondering if my sand bed is to deep? I have (2 ) Jeabo 25's, which I'm running on Else mode

They are blowing the sand around allot.

Anyway, I'm pulling some of the sand out as I want the rock sitting on the bottom tomorrow, and was wondering if the sand bed is to deep?

I'm getting snails, hermit crabs, some goby's down the road

( My tank just got done cycling ) But I just added 75lbs more Live Rock last night, so I have to check my Ammonia and Nitrates again, make sure I don't have any spikes

If not, I plan on adding my clean up crew next week then, maybe start off with some hermit crabs and snails just to start

You sand is fine, once you have the CUC they will spread out the sand more evenly.

id leave it. its not over done. and removing any of it would only be a negative cause you don't have a lot in there now. so removing any amount you have now would only take away from the beneficial filtration the sand will add.

Leave it, or take it out, and just use Live Rock and Cheato ?

Yes, I bought 5 ( 30lb ) bags of Tropic Eden Mini Flakes, I put 4+ bags in the DT, and a 3" sand bed in the Refugium, and used it all up
