Hey Howdy hey
So 1st post 1st saltwater tank (that's the plan) need a lil help. Got a 150g tank used and it was a saltwater tank and I need to know how to clean it. It has his white film that can't be felt with a finger nail and doesn't go away when filled with water. We have tried clr Vinegar bleach razor blades elbow grease green scratchpad 2000 grit 1000 grit sandpaper still won't go away. Any ideas plus I'm on a small island not in the us so I have no lowes or Home Depot to run to. TIA

Try using 100% vinegar. I'm guessing you didn't fill the tank with pure vinegar the first time you tried it.
If the tank has a plastic lip you should be able to do one panel at a time with a thin covering of pure vinegar. Turn the tank on a different side each time and pour as much vinegar in as you can before it spills over the lip. Let it sit for atleast an hour then use a razor blade. If you can't pool the vinegar then soak some paper towels. If you get some of it, but not all then just let it soak another hour and hit it again. Each time you hit it with a razor you'll be exposing more calcium to dissolve.
