Aiptasia Eating Peppermint Shrimp

Do these guys really work? Currently, my aiptasia problem is very minimal and they are very small, as in you would barely notice them, i don't want to go all chemical warfare on them, yet.

it is a crap shoot, some have had luck and others not, usually they only go for the smallest aiptasia if they go for them at all, usually won't touch bigger ones.

I've gone through probably 8 at different times, some which supposedly ate other local peoples aipts. In my tank, no luck.

It's always been more miss than hit with me as well.

On a side note, I've seen a peppermint shrimp go to town on a small favia frag one time. As soon as I dropped it in the tank, the shrimp went straight for it. By the next morning, the coral was pretty much picked clean.

I have had good luck with them. Get several to increase your odds.

I like the peppermint shrimp but the last time I got them they became a meal for my larger inhabitants really fast. What an expensive fish meal that was.
