Clown fish swimming on Side and Tail High
I have introduced 2 common clown fish into my tank about a week ago.
I did a water change the first water change since putting them in and had an accident where the sump level dropped and air was pumped into the main tank. Since then the clown fish are swimming at the top of the tank and I am concerned that this is because they have been hit by the air bubbles. PLEASE can someone tell me if this is the case and if so is there something I can do about it? I am worried about my fish. |

My pair of clowns always hung by the surface. I've seen this a lot. You shouldn't be concerned. Never heard of air bubbles causing an issue.

If your parameters are within reason, I wouldn't worry too much about it either.
I used to go out of my way to promote the introduction of micro bubbles into my old 60 gallon tank. Neither the corals or the fish seemed to mind. |

There is a reason they call them clowns Mine hang out around the surface, swim on their sides, frolic about, etc I would not worry either
