interceptor for redbugs and any other parasites and non parasites, your experience?

i found a frag i got with red bugs and am now concerned that i have it all over my tank.

i found the article about using the heartworm medicine interceptor to kill them. and i am interested. however, will this definitely kill all the other inverts in my tank? i have no way at all of catching all or even very many of them. will it for sure kill shrimp, crabs, snails, clams, ect ect....

did the treatment actually work for you?

thank you very much

hello,
the treatment works, but you HAVE to do it 3 times, or they will return. not something to be afraid of ...

Clams and snails are fine.

shrimps, crabs, mysid shrimps, copepods and ... all die though/ [my shrimps never died, but my crabs did]

you can try one of those traps from aquamedic to catch shrimps.

remember to follow the instructions fully.

+1 Interceptor only kills crustaceans.

That said, interceptor has not been available for over a year, good luck finding some.
