what "2 part" containers do you use?

If you use a tupperware like container then please share the link. I cant justify spending crazy money on the BM containers. Thanks.

I use two of these jugs from BRS, one for alk and one for ca
http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/mr-chi...allon-jug.html

Drilll a hole in the cap the exact size as your tubing, and drill a tiny 1/16" hole to allow air in.

I also ordered 2 extra caps for .25 cents each that I didnt drill. When I make new solution I put the non drilled caps on and shake the jugs for mixing.

It will depend on the size you need, but I use food safe narrow canisters from The Container Store. The tall and narrow body takes up less space than anything else I thought about using.

Rubbermaid 6 quart containers, 6 bucks each, punch a hole in the lid and drop in the hose from the dosing pump, works great, easy to fill and dont have to wait for it to be completely empty before adding another gallon of calc or alk solution

use 2 BlueLife 5g jugs for cal & alk dosing. I have to refill them about every 6-8 weeks.

I limit my dosing jug liquid volume to no more than like 7-10days as a backup safety precaution just incase pump fails on or something!

Saved my butt once!

Just my preference....Not really a big deal to refill the jug every week or so......

I use 1 gallon containers which look and feel exactly like the BRS containers. You can get them from walmart for about $3 a piece I think.

My dosing pump runs 24/7, so if it fails, it fails off. So no overdose possible. And I check the pump every morning. I was more worried about chemicals settling in the container, but so far that hasn't happened either.

Does anyone use the super slim one gallon container? They are are only a few inches wide and they hold 1 gallon. I've seen them on a thread somewhere but can't find them now. Anyone know what I'm referring too?

There are people who spend money on containers for 2-part solutions? Just when you thought you'd seen it all...

I use a couple of 1 gallon glass jugs that I scored from the lab that came with LC/MS water in them. Before I had that I used a couple of old orange juice containers.

Hi John,

Just go to your closest Dollar General and pick up a couple 1 gallon containers with screw on lids. Then do what Dexters Reef said. That's what I'm using with my dosing pump and they work great. The ones that I have even have liquid volume indicators.

Save your recycling for a week and use that. I'm using some old 1g jugs.

I went to my local Water store. They have a large assortment of jugs. I bought a couple of 3 gallon jugs with a wide opening on top.

Local water store? You have a store that just sells water? Only in Cali

I use the BRS jugs, just as the previous poster mentioned, drill a couple holes in the cap and you are GTG
