Exclamation coral supplements

so from what i understand there are 6 main ions in seawater: chlorine, sodium, sulfate, magnesium, calcium and potassium. if you fill a tank up with freshly mixed saltwater it should have all the right ion levels until you add corals which will begin to take in certain ions to build their skeletons.

My question is of the 6 main ions which will the corals take in? i know they use calcium, magnesium and potassium. but do they use sulfate, chlorine and sodium?
