Dying Hermit Crabs?!
No really sure what is going on.
DT: 75Gal with LR, 1 Clown, 1 Bi-Color Blenny, 2 snails. I started with 3 hermit crabs. 1 died... I found his remains/shell Now I think another is dead (could be remains from the first.... but doubtful) Snails/Fish are doing great. Fish are lively, eating well, etc... Water levels are all good as well. Any ideas? Could my blenny be killing them? He is somewhat protective of his turf - I've noticed him nip at the clown here and there when they are "playing". |

I have had a few die I think it has to do with not enough good sized shells available, Or maybe not enough food.

Leave them in your tank and watch for a few days, they could just be molting.

hermits kill eachother. it is recommended to have at least 5 shells per hermit to reduce killing.

It also helps if your diamond watchman goby doesn't hide all the shells >.>.
