Ph?

Why does it drop at night? when i look at my apex the Ph consistently drops at night. Why???

Current Tanks Info: 125 gallon DT, 30 Gal Sump, refuge, 25 watt UV, Neptune Apex, MP40 Ecotech, 2 Radions g1 and g2, carbon reactor, phosphate reactor, LPS and Tangs

Current Tank Info: 125 reef/fish tank 30 gallon sump. 30 gallon cube and 5 gallon refuge reef tank

During the day, when your lights are on, photosynthesis turns carbon dioxide into oxygen raising your pH. At night, when your lights are off, respiration occurs which is basically the opposite of photosynthesis.

Its normal due to daily tank activity's. But it does tend to level out as tank ages. Always test in the morning for best readings....
