ID please!!

I have a 29 gallon biocube. This morning I found this in one of the back chambers. Does anyone know what it is?? Is it good or bad????

Looks like a little aipstasia. They arent great - you will want to research methods of how to kill it. Good lick!

I got it out of my tank...I put it in a container until I could figure out what it was. Do you think my pom pom crab dropped one of his poms? I tried to find him to see if he still had both but he is hiding.

Its possible. I wouldnt think an aipstasia would unattach so easily which is why they are difficult to eradicate from tanks so its definitely possible your crab dropped this. Another possibility is that its just a sponge of some sort. Ive got some freaky looking sponges growing in the back of my own biocube....either way, you got it out so no harm done.

Oh by the way - when you say you found this in the back chamber....how did you find it? Floating or attached to the wall?

How old is the tank?

It was floating at the top.....but since i have put it in the container..it is now attached to the container....my tank is 4 months or so
