I have a 29 gallon biocube. This morning I found this in one of the back chambers. Does anyone know what it is?? Is it good or bad????

Looks like a little aipstasia. They arent great - you will want to research methods of how to kill it. Good lick!

Its possible. I wouldnt think an aipstasia would unattach so easily which is why they are difficult to eradicate from tanks so its definitely possible your crab dropped this. Another possibility is that its just a sponge of some sort. Ive got some freaky looking sponges growing in the back of my own biocube....either way, you got it out so no harm done.

Oh by the way - when you say you found this in the back chamber....how did you find it? Floating or attached to the wall?
How old is the tank? |
