My new tank travels so far

Im Greg and I started my first tank 10weeks or so. I had a 38 gal cube from my dart frog days just sitting in the basement.

I started out with buying everything I needed slowly.

I first bought a Eshopps 75gal HOB skimmer, and then added heater ,2 powerheads, test kits and LED HOB light over the course of a few weeks.

When I decided it was time to get rolling. I bought 35 gal of saltwater and 10 gal of RO water from my local saltwater reef store. I had only the water, heater and skimmer going. This went on for a week.

I then added 25lbs of live sand.

A week later I added 35lbs of live rock and a bottle of the live bacteria.

I then waited 3 weeks for monitoring of the system( I never had ammonia or nitrites show up on my tests). But did have some nitrates.

I added some snails and hermits.

Two weeks later some more inverts.

Not only were the inverts added but I would feed the tank a little food.

It has been 3 weeks from the first inverts being added to adding my 2 baby clown fish today.

My LFS guy preached the entire time slow slow slow slow

Any advise or insight would be great !! Thanks
