BRS Screen Netting Longevity?
I made screens for my tank about a year ago and just recently noticed both screens have tears that appeared within days of one another. These tears/holes are getting bigger every few days. I'm guessing the netting will need replaced in the next month or so. Should I expect to replace the netting in these every year? They are 16" under 250w halides. Anybody else have experience with this?

I got about a year out of mine before they started to become brittle and tear. With that being said I love the clear screens over my tank and no longer loose jumpers. Ten minute replacement and they're back in business.

It might depend on the type of lights. Mine are going on 3 years under T5s.
