How is your sump filter plumbed??

I've been on this forum a little over a month. My tank has also been up for over a month!! yeahh!

And now getting ready to set up my sump next week..I'm going with black vinyl tubing for the drain and return.

The overflow box I have it with a 1" drain, and rated for 300gph.
My return pump is a marineland maxi jet 1200, rated for 1200gph at 6ft.. but my guess for the height from the floor to the top of the tank is about 4ft.

The pump has a 1/2" outlet, so I'm going to try a 1/2" to 3/4" barded connector to increase the size to 3/4" tube verses the 1/2", and add a 3/4" ball valve in there to get the flow right on with the drainage of my tank :P

Simple..I know. and was cheap.

forgot to say that I have the proflex model 1 sump/refugium.

Refugium Is what I'm going to be going for after I get it all set up.

oh...and feel free to post pictures! I like to get new ideas
