Electrical question! Wavepoint Micro Sun related
So I have a WavePoint Micro Sun LED on my nano.
It's an 8W, 6 inch unit. Lately the power delivery to the LED's has been spotty... i.e. it fires up nice and bright sometimes, but then eventually dims out and starts flickering. I suspect that the AC adapter is the culprit. So it's a 24v 300mA adapter. Is there an easy way to replace this? I looked on Amazon, and I can't seem to find an adapter that will fit those parameters exactly. |

On second thought is the a driver on this circuit? are you replacing the power supply or the driver? those are two different pieces. Last edited by modder man; 11/14/2013 at 07:01 PM. Reason: Second thought |

I have no idea, honestly. I'm not an electrical expert by any means. There is the light, which looks like a strip of LED's attached to a heat sink. From that there is a cord that goes right into the AC adapter. The AC adapter has a female socket.
