Return pump

Hi everyone,

i'm wondering to use an EHEIM EXTERNAL pump to return the water from the sump to display.

Does anyone uses an external pump to do this? Is there any concern that i should have?

I've run the 1250 this way, and operation was quiet and flawless. The other models are pretty much the same thing either scaled up or down. I would recommend one. They are quieter than rios/mags that i have used. Only downside is that they are more expensive.
