Is this the beginning of GHA?
As the title states , what is this algae? It's not present where the light doesn't hit the rocks, in the back of the tank. I use ro/di water for weekly changes. Tank is about four months old. The rock was base rock to start. Algae does not feel furry and cannot be blown off and doesn't really come off with my finger nails.
Water parameters below. 11/15 Salinity 1.0224 Temp 78-79 Ph 8.0-8.2 Phosphate .25 Nitrate 0 Calcium 440 Kh 143.2 |

Over time your rocks will change color, it's not a big although some people like the white rock look. If you don't care for the green coraline you can always get a urchin
