Small Blue LED light, ok overnight?
Hello, newbie with a lighting question.....
I have a 50g breeder, it's about a month old. 3 small fish, a CUC, and 2 corals. During the day, I run 2 t5 HO lights for about 9 hours a day. I was advised to purchase a smaller night light..... so I picked up a actinic blue 460nm 3w light (marketed for nanos)...... Is it ok to run this thing all night? Or should there be a period of time that there is zero light..... any help or advice much appreciated! |

I run 8 LEDs all night. They are built into my fixture. They are not super bright but gives a moon shimmer to the tank.

My lights follow the Gregorian calendar, so sometimes my blues are on all night, some partially and sometimes none at all.
