Help... Need real answers.

I've asked many times and gotten a million vague answers.

My tank: 7.5g mr aqua bowfront. 18x9x10
Lighting options: I'm buying either a par38 from Reefbreeders. Or their value fixture (aka evergrow d120). Naturally their customer service recommended the value fixture ($80 more)

Will the par38 be sufficient for my tank with sps, will it cover my tank with no dead spots, no areas with shaded lighting (not counting due to rock structure). Or do I NEED the d120 to successfully light my tank? I have yet to get a real answer. I'm about to drop like 180 on the d120 just to be sure, but hey if I can save money and get great lighting with the par38 then that's what I'll do. I'm going to be purchasing most likely tomorrow and have no problem spending the extra money on the right fixture. Please help!

the par 38 is similar to a kessil i would think? if so the Par38 will do i think but you will have shading since its not an evenly spread light source. The spread will be iffy, but the real question is the support for sps, not many people use par 38 bulbs so its hard to find a solid answer on their performance. there is only 13 Leds compared to over 50 in the unit that is $80 more, now thats something to think about

That is true, I'm definitely leaning more towards the d120.
