Blasto Coral not curling.
So I have a small colony of merletti blasto coral and for some reason I can't get it to curl it polyps over like it used to. The first place I placed it in the tank it curled its polyps over and looked great! Unfortunately I had to move him do to a BTA that was growing close and I put him in a lower light spot because I read they do well in low light. That's when it started extending its polyps syraigt out vs curling them over. So I figured it was do to the lower light. After giving it a week or so to see if it would adjust it didn't... So now I have moved it to a spot with comparable light as before, but it still won't curl it's polyps over again.
I guess my question here is, I am right to assume that the blasto would extend its polyps straight out if not receiving enough light, correct?? J Fox |

Mine also likes moderate flow. seems to stimulate it. Also likes to be fed. Freeze dried reef roids and cyclopeeze are great.

The coral definitely gets enough flow and food. I'm pretty sure this is a light issue and want too know if it straighten its polyps when it's getting too much light or too little? I assume too little.
