Nano skimmer

We'll I bought the taam rio nano skimmer and it's horrible doesn't really skim anything nothing in collection cup and if I increase the air flow the few bubbles it does gone. Any1 know of a good skimmer for a 10 gal QT

I've had mine 3-4 days on my 10 gallon QT. I have the same problem.

Give it a week or 2 to break in fully...See if that helps. 10g is indeed small...Maybe your bioload is so low nothing to collect

I agree with the above, the skimmer probably needs some time to break in. I just cleaned my Eshopps skimmer the other day and it took a few days for it to start working correctly again. Patience.

what adjustments have you tried?

i didn't realize the venturi inlet on mine went up and down to adjust airflow.

it still doesn't skim as much as i would like, but it is better. make sure the nut at the base of the venturi inlet is tight, and then adjust the valve stem itself up to make more skim.

you can also try shortening or lengthening to inlet tube, and leave the water inlet valve full open.

on the outlet side, try setting the weir to a high position to limit turn over.

give it a chance to break in but your question was good skimmer for 10g tank so the nano aqua c remora HOB has served well for me in 5g pico but i upgraded it to a bigger pump stock pump sucked its rated for up to 25g if im not mistaken.
