Help!!! Color choices

As I'm moving right along on my build (Independence Tank) this question needs an answer. What color would go best on the walls of the newly exposed room. You'll be able to see it through the tank ? Check out my build thread, thanks and Merry Xmas

If this is a wall behind a clear back tank dark colors generally work best.

If the color of the back wall of the tank, then there watching what you want.
On a dark background corals and fish look brighter and more effectively, but also visible particles suspended matter in the water. Slurry on a light background is not so clearly visible, but some color is lost in the visual sense.

I would tint the back of the tank and paint the room a lighter color if it is going to be your equipment room. I like to be in a bright area when I am testing water or working in a sump ect. I have many friends with tinted tanks and it is amazing because you can see in from both sides and it looks completely black with the light out in the room behind.

Pife, that's an awesome idea. I want to be able to see in from both sides but the one side is our living room so I don't really want to stare at the fish room / office behind. Any idea what color or % tint works best ?
