Setting up VorTech MP40w ES with Apex Controller & WXM Module
Hi all,
I have a couple of VorTech MP40w ES pumps that I'm about to install on a new tank that is still cycling, and I plan to set the pair up in anti-sync mode. I already have an Apex controller with the WXM module connected, but the pumps are still in the boxes. I have never turned on the outlets on the Energy Bar that I have dedicated to the pumps, and haven't yet entered any code for their control. (I think I've seen some good examples of code in this forum that I can copy.) My question pertains to the setup sequence of events - do I need to install the pumps and have them running on their own to start with and then work on getting them controlled by the WXM module, or is there an easier way to do it, i.e., some way of putting them under the control of the WXM module from the start? I thought that if this was possible, it could possibly save me some time. Thanks for your input and assistance!

Pair them up one at a time with the WXM as only one pump at a time can be on when you're pairing it to the WXM. So pair one then unplug it. Plug in the next one and pair it. Once they are paired you can plug the other one back in and go from there programming it. Once it is paired it will create an Apex outlet for each pump.
Here is the manual for the WMX that gives detailed instructions on how to pair them. http://www.neptunesystems.com/wp-con...WXM_manual.pdf |
