Question When does the water stop being cloudy?

Just curious about how long it should take a brand new tank to stop with the cloudy water.

Specifics:
55 Gallon soon to be reef tank. Cycling roughly day 15. Salt level 1.023. Small amount of live rock has been added, more will come with time. Ammonia reads within safe perimeter on the dip test, but I do need to go get a master kit for the more accurate and detailed readings on everything.

What kind of water did you put in to start with? RO, RODI, or tap water? Also what kind of substrate did you use? Last are you using any type of power head?

It's really hard to put a definitive number on this. Your just going to have to be patient and let nature take it's course. Also, if you keep adding small amounts of live rock at a time, if there's any sort of die off this could very well prolong the cloudiness your seeing. GL.

The substrate is black live sand. Penguin 1140 power head. Magnum 350 canister filter and a protein skimmer. Using RO water. I really wish I could afford to do all my live rock at once, but I can't. As long as the cloudy water is part of the normal process I can be patient about it. Was just worried that maybe I should be concerned.
