first time getting readings.. ??
Ok so I got my first readings today.. well really my second. I did get readings right after I put my water in (the second day) and the guy at the lfs said all my readings were 0.. what ever he meant by that??
I even went back and asked him what the readings were because I wanted to log them and he said .. all 0 nothing to tell me..  ok..so I took my water to petsmart and they used a dip stick measurement and even let me see it.. day 10 of cycle... ph is 8.4 alk 300 nitrite 0 nitrate 20 ammonia 0 any suggestions or ideas of if im doing this right? 36 gal tank with 48 lbs rock 5 live rock 43 dry and 40 lbs dry sand and 15 lbs live sand.. |

on the nitrate the pets mart test said 20.. but on this test it is Nitrate < 0.2 ppm Variable (typically below 0.1 ppm) am I that far off where I should be during my cycle?
