Looking to upgrade my 150

Currently i have a 150 gallon FOWLR tank. I have some vintage t8 bulbs 4 total 2 2 bulb 36" fixtures. A custom wet/dry using some filter floss going through bioballs then runs through some chemical filtration that are in bags, a uv sterilizer, and then returns to the tank. I have alot of coralline algae growing but no corals yet.

I want to upgrade my whole setup besides my actual tank. The setup i was thinking about doing is:

3 250w 14000k Metal halides and maybe a few t5 ho
Reef octapus NWB - 200 skimmer
a few hydor koralia evolutions (not sure on gph) with the wave controller
the way i have flow now in the tank is a custom pvc setup that splits my return pumps flow to 3 return loc line nozzles equally spaced on the back of the tank
keeping my uv sterilizer its a 40w from a brand which i do not recall
maybe a ato rodi setup but im not sure on this yet

as far as the actual sump/fuge/wet dry i have no idea what im doing...

My current wet dry using bio balls works great ive never had a problem with it. When browsing forums i see some people like bioballs some people like fuge's some people just have a sump with a skimmer and some socks. I just dont know what would be best for me. Either way wheter it be a wet dry or fuge or sump i will diy it.

The goals for the tank are to have a nice community going on in the tank and maybe eventually start growing corals in tank. The problem with that though is i have some fish in my tank that wont do well with corals like a puffer fish, picasso trigger, and some iffy wrasses. Ive seen people do a small coral setup in their fuge but again i have no idea if that is infact a good idea.

Any way all advice is appreciated as im a bit of a noobie here thanks!
