Acquarium Clubs in NJ
I live in northern New Jersey. Does anyone know of any aquarium clubs focused on saltwater setups in northern NJ, New York City or Rockland County, New York? Thanks!

There are quite a few. NJ Reefers is NJ's big club. NYC has Manhattan Reefs and the NY Reef Club. Two of the three have forums in the Northeast Region Forums here and Manhattan maintains their own outside of RC

Are there ever any large aquarium trade shows in the NY/NJ area, like at the Javitt Center or a convention hall?

No "trade shows".
There are frag swaps and some weekend events. Frag Farmers in CT & NERAC in Riverhead are 2 in March. 1st is a frag event 2nd is a Saturday speaker event with vendors. |

Frag farmers has quite a few dry goods places signed up to go with 54 coral "vendors" not really a "trade show" but great for frags!
